Woody & Sharon with Major Dean Hinson, the PastorOfficer at Clearwater Florida, sharing common interests in tours to Israel.  Dean is the coordinator instructor for Salvation Army Officers Educational Tours for the USA Southern Territory.  An excellent Bible teacher, having studied in Israel prior to his training as a Salvation Army Officer.

Jean & Lloyd Thompson went to Israel with Woody and Sharon in 1986, and especially appreciated Solomon's Pillars, Lloyd being a geophysicist.  Met them in Florida for lunch in March 2009.

We had a wonderful week in Tel Aviv with Armon (our driver) and his wife, Mazel, following our 2008 tour mid-November - great to live with real people, not just as a tourist.  It was a marvellous experience.

Mazel is a great lady and kept us well fed.  Really enjoyed our time in the park. While she knows very little English, (but is learning) she certainly picked up Phase 10 fast and very quickly claimed her wins!!!

Woody enjoyed time to do some magic with Mazel`s kindergarten class in Tel Aviv.  She is a busy lady with them all.  The children were also celebrating Shabbat just prior to it, which was very interesting to us to watch.

A visit to the home of our guide, Isaac, and his sweet wife, Naomi, following a great seafood dinner at a marina.  The desserts Naomi made were out of this world!  Great to meet with them again in their home.

Kenneth & Mary Isley enjoyed their 50th Wedding Anniversary on their tour to Israel and Greece in 1986.  Ken (Sharon's father) was welcomed to the "New Jerusalem" August 12, 2008. Mary resides in Innisfail.
